How to make homemade strawberry jam tarts

I’ve never really been a fan of jam tarts, but after pondering on things that I could bake that I’ve never baked before, these came to mind and to my surprise, they tasted absolutely delicious! The smooth shortcrust pastry taste blended so well with the strawberry jam flavour that I came to the conclusion that tarts are best when they are homemade. Although these can be eaten warm or cold, I recommend them warm from the heat of the oven.

One thing that I will do next time though, is to make sure I invest in those pretty designed cutters, so the edges of the pastry are more detailed.
